We are very pleased to announce TWICON CANADA 2010!!!!

We’re so darn happy that we can finally announce it, you have no idea. After many months of petitioning and making contacts, we received a few months ago an email from the one and only TwiCon!

TwiCon held the largest conference inspired by Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight this summer in Dallas, Texas. They had seven of the Twilight cast members attending and many amazing activities planned. We’re very excited to have the opportunity to work with them. We will be working as volunteers for the convention, so please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any suggestions!

TwiCon Canada is going to take place in Toronto, Canada in the summer of 2010.

A humongous thank you to all of you who helped us achieve our goal! We had no idea, back when we started the petition, whether it would work or not. Looks like we seriously underestimated you guys. Thanks so much to all the websites for helping us get the petition out there and especially to those of you who’ve contributed so much and stuck with us throughout this incredible journey (oh my god that was so cheesy! But it’s okay, ‘cause we’re getting a FREAKING CONVENTION!)

Here’s how Twilight Clue works:

*Bella Swan has been found dead. It is your job to figure out who killed her, where they did it, and what they used to kill her!*

I will give you NINE clues each day for five days. You will be able to see what they are and what they look like in these posts. Every clue will be hidden somewhere on one of the participating sites. (See below) However, out the 45 total clues, there will be 3 you will not be able to find on any site: one person, one place, and one weapon. These are your guilty three. On the fifth day (tomorrow, June 21 is Day One and Thursday, June 25 is Day Five) I will put up a form. You will submit the guilty person, scene-of-the-crime, and weapon.

There are 45 “clues” you will be given. There are 15 Twilight characters as suspect perpetrators of the crime, or possible “murderers”. There’s 15 Twilight places as possible “scenes-of-the-crime” where the murderer may have committed the crime. There are also 15 Twilight-related possible “weapons” that the murderer may have used to kill Bella.

Josh Ryan of Secrets in Stereo interview

“Simply Twilight.com, along with Kim from Cullen Boys Anonymous, and Ilana of TwiCanCon and TwilightUnplugged, as well as a several other Twilighters had the chance to interview Josh Ryan of Secrets in Stereo on Monday, June 1st.
Many questions were asked, and wonderful detailed answers were spoken. That’s right: spoken. The interview took place on Ventrilo, a program where people can voice chat with one another. The entire interview was recorded and will be put up on YouTube sometime this week.
Josh Ryan was wonderful enough to not just let us interview him, be he also did an acoustic performance of “Again”, the song that he’s known for among the Twilight community.

Hey everyone,
We haven’t been posting as often because we’re cramming for our final exams (government exams aaahhh kill me).
I was asked by my friends over at ST to be apart of this interview, and I’m so glad I did (that sounded so cheesy haha).
It was my first time using Ventrillo, so stupid me couldn’t figure out how to use the microphone properly. So unfortunately, I didn’t get to ask my question *despair*. But we all talked to him in the chat throughout the interview.
Best part by far: hearing him sing live. Ohhh my god O_O He is AMAZING. We all wanted to hear him sing and Jess (of simplytwilight.com) asked him near the end. He went to get his guitar and somehow managed to press the talk button at the same time, major skills right there. We were all swooning in the chat room.

It was a really cool experience; I’ve never had the opportunity to be part of an interview before.
Josh is trying to get his song on the New Moon soundtrack; you should all go and support him. His song fits so perfectly, it’s beautiful and emotional.

Paramore is our favourite band of all time, so we gladly jumped on board for this one x)

Together with the hilarious Jess equally as awesome Meg of simplytwilight.com, we’ll be celebrating Rob Pattinon’s 22nd birthday on Wednesday, May 13th.
